Taste It (Xcite Romance)

A sweet and sexy indulgence with a super-hot and delicious hero
By S. Richards

This is a very sweet and sexy read. I read this story with a smile on my face; it felt that good, just truly romantic. The story is really told from Jill’s POV, and we get a lot of what she’s thinking and feeling, but that’s not to say that the author short-changes us on the hero. He is very alive and ready to grab you right from the page. Jill is a sweet and strong character with a lot to like about her, but it’s the gorgeous hero who’s the star for me. I just wanted to hug him and kiss him, and then maybe tie him to the bed and have my way with him. He was so incredibly sexy and sweet and good.

I loved Cole, all 6’6 of him; add in some true-blue eyes, the nerdy-cool black glasses, and most of all, that very masculine but sweet and caring attitude, and I thought he was pretty much perfect. Even when I discovered his very human flaw, he was still beautiful to me, inside and out. He’s got an edge to him, but he is also the type to whisper pretty words in your ear while loving you deeply and completely. You know, those words that tell you how great you are, how amazing you feel, how much you turn him on, and just how much in love with you he is. I was sighing and melting through this read.

All the sex scenes were smexy hot, sensual and well-detailed. This author knows how to describe and how to put the reader in the scene. And she knows how to take some really hot sex and enhance it with a feeling of closeness. It wasn’t just sex, and I admit I do love to read a scorching sex scene, but I also felt a true intimacy and romance in the scenes. The author managed to put a believable connection there between this hero and heroine, a real feeling that something special is happening between them.

This was a read that made me smile while reading it, made me fan myself, too. Most of all, it made me fall in love with a hero and I love when that happens. This story is sexy fun, an indulgence I don’t think you’ll regret at all. Taste It is arousing and exciting, truly romantic and sweet, a short but satisfying read that filled my craving for a caring and sexy hero.

 Masked Desires (Xcite Romance)

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely sexy, romantic story
By sid042 (England)

I loved this story. It was the perfect mix of erotica and romance. The author very cleverly interspersed erotic moments – like Summer imagining herself with Eddie – with the budding romance. What really impressed me was how well-rounded this story was. So often these stories rush straight through to the sex and leave you wondering what happened afterwards. There was a great build up of sexual tension between the characters and there was a surprising amount of characterisation for a short story.

Eddie was lovely – sexy, charming and romantic. Loved him! And when they finally got it together, it was hot and romantic. There was a moment at the end where I wasn’t sure it would work out but all ended up nicely and I love a good HEA.

This is perfect for those that love a good few sexy scenes and a proper story. I will definitely be looking for more stories from Elizabeth Coldwell!
